May 30, 2018 - The Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) today released information on Top 100 Accounting Firms in China by Revenue in 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the top 100 in 2017). It is the 15th consecutive year for CICPA to release the rankings since it established the top 100 information release program in 2003.
The top 100 in 2017 was the first time based on Rules on Releasing Information on Top 100 Accounting Firms in China by Revenue issued by CICPA on January 2, 2018. Previously, a comprehensive ranking result was generated using individual measures with different weights applied. The top 100 in 2017 ranked accounting firms using the revenue as the sole measure. At the same time, it also released information on the structure of accounting firm’s revenue, revenue from other professional service organizations under its control, number of certified public accountants, number of employees, number of branches (offices), membership of international accounting network and alliances, as well as disciplinary actions received by the accounting firm and its CPAs in the past three years.
